You should visit to make sure it will accommodate all your guests. If you want to decorate, ask if that will be problem and find out if you are expected to remove the decorations or if the restaurant or hotel will remove them. If you decide on a restaurant, you should also make sure that the food will fit the party’s style and theme.
Don’t hesitate to think of unconventional places for a shower. On a beautiful spring day, it may cost nothing to use the city’s rose garden. Every city has beautiful parks that would be perfect during nice weather. Maybe you want to have a barbeque in your backyard, which would be especially nice for a couples shower. A tea room would be nice for a more formal, intimate shower. Keep your eyes open for something different and fun.
