Fun Games for Baby Shower
There’s so many fun games for baby shower that it may be hard to pick. You’ll only need two or three games to break the ice with your guests and get everyone laughing and more at ease with each other. And that’s exactly what fun games for baby shower is intended to do. And don’t for get to give a prize to the winner!
Fun Games for Baby Shower – Don’t Say Baby
This was one of the baby shower games that we played at my daughter’s baby shower and it runs throughout the shower. As each guest arrives, give her a diaper pin. Tell her that for the duration of the party she is not to use the word baby. If someone catches her saying baby, she must give her diaper pin to that person. If she hears someone say baby, she can take her pin. The person with the most pins at the end of the shower wins. It’s actually harder than it sounds, especially at a BABY shower!
Fun Games for Baby Shower – Pins and Rice
This was another one of the baby shower games we played at my daughter’s shower. You will need to gather a big bowl, a bag of rice, a package of at least twenty little gold safety pins, a blindfold, and pen and paper to write down everyone’s score.
Dump the rice in the bowl and add the pins. Stir well. Blindfold each guest, one at a time, and have them pick out as many pins as they can in two minutes. The rice and pins feel almost identical. The person finding the most pins wins.
Fun Games for Baby Shower – My Water Broke!
Some baby shower games can run concurrently with other baby shower games. Purchase some little plastic babies and freeze them in ice cubes trays. Put one in each guest’s glass (they must be all served at the same time to be fair). The first guest whose ice melts completely around the baby wins.
Here’s a great place to order the babies and they are very inexpensive.
You should be careful freezing the babies in the ice cube trays to make sure they are all submerged the same. An easy way to do it is to put a little water in the bottom of the tray and let it freeze. Then put a doll in each cube and add a little more water and freeze again. Then fill completely up with water and freeze again.

Fun Games for Baby Shower – Toss the Pacifier
Guests stand in a circle. The guests toss the pacifier to someone else in the circle; it doesn’t need to be the person next to them, it can be anyone at random. That person has five seconds to name a baby item, and then she tosses the pacifier to someone else. If she can’t name an item in five seconds, she is out of the game.
The catch is that items can’t be repeated, so pretty soon it gets hard to name a new item. Believe me; creativity counts. The last person standing wins.
Fun Games for Baby Shower – You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby
This is a one of tried and true baby shower games that is even played at other types of parties.
In your invitation, ask the guest to bring a picture of herself when she was a baby. The guests must wear name tags for this game if there is anyone in the group that doesn’t know all of the other guest’s names. Number each of the pictures. Give each guest a pencil and paper and tell them to write the guests name next to the number they think matches the picture. The one with the most correct answers wins.
